Remember your grandma saying that ink gets into your bloodstream and poisons your whole body? Gotta love Grandma, but she was way off.
Getting stabbed by a ballpoint pen is not the same as an IV drip of ink. The amount is minuscule. You’d need to drink a whole bottle of ink or inject a massive amount directly into a vein to get seriously sick. And let’s be real, who does that?
The only real “poison” risk comes from old-timey inks. Think 1950s fountain pens with iron gall or heavy metals. Unless you found a treasure chest in an attic, your pen is safe.
